A few Words About Me
A classically trained harpist,
Ariadna has earned a bachelor’s degree in harp performance and music theory from the University of North Texas with Dr. Jaymee Haefner, and will be completing a master’s degree at the Frost School of Music with Dr. Laura Sherman. She has been an has been an active musician in South Florida, performing with the Frost School of Music large ensembles, Miami Symphony Orchestra, and the Miami Music Festival Symphony and Opera orchestra. Ariadna has had the opportunity to work with incredible conductors like Gerard Schwarz, Ben Makino, Aaron Breid, Gustavo Sánchez, and others.
An avid arranger,
Ariadna has created harp ensemble pieces for the award-winning UNT HarpBeats and UA HarpFusion. While a member of the UNT HarpBeats, she traveled to Chicago for the 2018 Lyon & Healy Summer Concert Series to perform a program which featured her arrangement of “Merry Go Round of Life” by Joe Hisaishi. Ariadna believes in elevating music through the harp and continues to adapt music that she loves for her favorite instrument. Currently, she is collaborating with her longtime friend and fellow harpist Marti Moreland to facilitate interest in music for harp duo and can’t wait to share the projects they have in the works.
